Sainte Maure Ashed

A classic goat's milk cheese. The log-shaped cheese is rolled in ash when young and fresh, then left to mature for a few weeks to develop the subtle rind before being sent to us. Reflecting the season in France, in (European winter) the cheese will have strong more assertive flavour, whilst in European summer we will get a fresh clean citruses flavour. 

We mature our goat's cheese in our custom made fridge, on cedar shelves. Let us know how mature you prefer your cheese to be and we will try to endeavour your order/taste within our current selection
