Saucissons Australia by La Bastide has been making the real thing since founding chef Jean-Marc Amar brought his French charcuterie know-how to Sydney. Their Saucisse Sèche — the classic thin, U-shaped dry sausage — is made from free-range pork seasoned with salt, black pepper and wine, then slow dry-cured in natural hog casings until the flavour fully develops. The result has earned medals at the Mondial du Saucisson in France! The ultimate seal of approval.

How to enjoy: Serve with a crusty baguette, cornichons and a generous slice of Comté. Pairs perfectly with a glass of red.

Pick up your cheeses from any of our markets or our Seaforth store. Please check the calendar at checkout for available collection dates and times.
As our store is small, we kindly ask that you arrive as close as possible to your allocated time slot.
Australia-Wide Shipping
All perishable products are carefully packed in an insulated La Boite a Fromages box with a thermal liner and airline ice packs to maintain freshness during transit.
Orders are dispatched Tuesday and Wednesday via StarTrack Premium Express next-day delivery.
Orders must be placed by 10am Wednesday to meet the weekly dispatch deadline.
As we use third-party courier services, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time or day. Tracking is provided for all orders, and you will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
Please note that next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed for regional areas or addresses that do not receive daily mail. If you’re unsure, we recommend contacting us before placing your order.
All shipping orders are sent with Authority to Leave. When selecting your delivery address, please choose a location where someone can receive the parcel promptly.
